Bio

I am the current Director of Compliance at the University of Wyoming. I have held the Director position since October of 2013. Prior to being the Director, I served as the Assistant Director of Compliance at the University of Wyoming beginning in June of 2012. While I was in law school, I served as an intern for the Marquette Athletics and also for UW - Green Bay athletics. I have worked with NCAA compliance issues on a daily basis since January of 2011.

I currently handle the day-to-day operations of a NCAA Division 1 FBS institution. I work directly with coaches, student-athletes, administrators and staff on a daily basis to ensure compliance with NCAA, Mountain West Conference and University of Wyoming rules, policies and procedures. I handle all aspects of NCAA compliance for UW's 17 sports. My responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting with the oversight of the student-athlete certification process, APR projections and data reporting, providing coaches with interpretations on NCAA legislation (both current and pending); rules education and other daily tasks.

I also serve as the supervising administrator for UW's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). It is a privilege to work with student-athletes on a daily basis and help them set and achieve their goals. SAAC is the student-athlete's arm to the administration and meets monthly to discuss UW Athletic Department policies and procedures to ensure our student-athletes have a voice in our department. Additionally, SAAC is the main avenue for student-athlete and community service projects.

I have served on numerous search committees at the University of Wyoming (both coaching and the administrative positions). I was also invited to be a part of UW's Strategic Planning Committee in January 2014, assigned the task of planning the future of Wyoming Athletics. In the fall of 2014, I become the Mountain West Conference "Commissioner" for Compliance Administrators.
